Opening the Door to the Best of Asia

Asia awaits with new nonstop service to Hong Kong and Shanghai.

We’re bringing you convenient options to top destinations around the world by expanding our international footprint with new nonstop routes. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, you can enjoy a seamless journey to Asia with our new nonstop service between Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) and Hong Kong (HKG), as well as between DFW and Shanghai (PVG). We’re proud to be the first and only U.S. carrier to offer service on these two routes, which will be available for travel beginning June 11, 2014.

Enjoy a world-class travel experience to Hong Kong on our modern Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, which offers fully lie-flat seats and all-aisle access in First and Business Class, Main Cabin Extra seating with up to six inches of additional legroom, international Wi-Fi and personal entertainment at every seat.*

Once you’re in Hong Kong, take a stroll down the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, stretching across the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, or check out the Hong Kong Space Museum, the Hong Kong Museum of Art and the Avenue of Stars – a tribute to some of Asia’s most famous movie stars.

Before your flight to the United States, unwind in the Plaza Premium Lounge near Gate 40 if you’re flying in First or Business Class or if you’re an Admirals Club®, AAdvantage® Executive Platinum® or AAdvantage Platinum® member.

Plus, you can easily connect from Hong Kong to key cities in Southeast Asia and beyond through our fellow oneworld® members Cathay Pacific and Malaysia Airlines. Cathay Pacific and its affiliate Dragonair also offer service to more than 20 cities throughout mainland China.

We’re giving you access to more than 145 unique destinations in Asia.

Our new service between DFW and Shanghai complements existing service to the bustling city from our Chicago (ORD) and Los Angeles (LAX) hubs. Experience an enhanced journey to Shanghai on our Boeing 777-200 aircraft, featuring First Class Flagship® Suite fully lie-flat seats, chef-inspired menu options paired with award-winning wines in First and Business Class and entertainment available at every seat throughout the aircraft.

During your visit, don’t miss Shanghai’s Nanjing Road, a 3.4-mile-long street with more than 600 shops, and take an evening trip to The Bund near the Huangpu River to capture the lights of the towering skyscrapers and the breathtaking skyline.

If you’re flying in First or Business Class or are an AAdvantage Executive Platinum or Platinum member, visit Cathay Pacific’s lounge in Shanghai to relax before your flight to the United States.
