    American Eagle Begins Nonstop Route Between Milwaukee and Marquette, Mich.

    American Eagle, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, today launched nonstop jet service between Milwaukee's General Mitchell International Airport and Sawyer International Airport in Marquette, Mich. To celebrate the new service, American Eagle is offering an introductory round-trip fare of $98.

    A 21-day advance purchase is required for the introductory fare, and the promotion is valid for travel through Feb. 13, 2008.

    "This new flight is just in time to enjoy all the winter activities the Upper Peninsula of Michigan has to offer," said Gary Foss, Eagle's Vice President - Marketing and Planning. "American Eagle is proud to offer the only nonstop jet service to Sawyer International Airport."

    American Eagle operates the daily round trip using its 50-seat Embraer 145 jets.
