American Eagle Airlines Announces Summer Schedule From Rapid City, S.D., to Dallas/Fort Worth and Chicago

Second Seasonal Flight Added to American's Largest Hub in Dallas/Fort Worth

FORT WORTH, Texas, Feb. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- American Eagle Airlines, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, today announced its summer schedule to Rapid City, offering a second nonstop flight from Rapid City Regional Airport to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport from June 9 to Aug. 22, in addition to daily nonstop seasonal service to O'Hare International Airport. Eagle will operate the service with 50-seat Embraer ERJ-145 jets.

"The additional flight to Dallas/Fort Worth this summer will provide our customers with more direct connections to Mexico and throughout Texas."

"This is good news for South Dakota and underscores the consumer demand for travel to Rapid City and western South Dakota," said Sen. John Thune (R-SD).
