    American Airlines to Add More Service From Seven Key Business Markets to Lambert St. Louis International Airport in September

    American Airlines today announced that its AmericanConnection carriers will add a daily round trip flight to seven cities from Lambert St. Louis International Airport effective Sept. 5.

    "Our corporate travelers have indicated a desire to have more service into and out of St. Louis and these flights will offer them that opportunity," said Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge, American's Managing Director -- St. Louis Hub. "For example, we will now be offering travelers the option of taking a morning flight from St. Louis to Tulsa and we expect it will be very popular."

    From St. Louis, a new daily roundtrip will be flown to: 

    -- Cedar Rapids, Iowa, for a total of three daily flights 
    -- Charlotte, N.C., for a total of four daily flights 
    -- Dayton, Ohio for a total of three daily flights 
    -- New Orleans, La., for a total of four daily flights 
    -- Newark, N.J., for a total of six daily flights 
    -- Springfield, Mo., for a total of two daily flights 
    -- Tulsa, Okla., for a total of three daily flights

    Separately, as part of a restructuring of its Dallas Love Field schedule, American Airlines announced that AmericanConnection will cease service between Love Field and St. Louis effective September 5. American Airlines, a founding member of the global oneworld® Alliance will continue to offer daily, high- frequency service between St. Louis-Lambert and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
