American Airlines Sponsors Black Enterprise Magazine's Salute to African Americans in Hollywood

American Airlines tonight will serve as the official airline sponsor of Black Enterprise magazine's salute to African Americans in entertainment at a special event in Los Angeles. The event, "The Top 25 Money Makers in Hollywood," recognizes achievements by African Americans in film and television.

"American Airlines has long been a friend of the entertainment industry, so we are pleased to play a part in honoring the best in the business," said Roger Frizzell, American's Vice President - Corporate Communications and Advertising. "Our congratulations to Ruby Dee Davis, who will be honored this evening, plus all the other honorees who play such an important role in our lives."

Also being recognized are top films of the year, including "American Gangster" and "The Bucket List."
