    American Airlines Opens Midtown Manhattan Travel Center

    American Airlines today opens a new Travel Center in the Grand Central area where service representatives can personally meet passengers' many needs -- including expediting passport and visas applications.

    "Many travelers today like to visit a convenient location where they can sit down and make their plans with the personal assistance of a qualified professional," said John Lisiewski Cardona, Manager for Atlantic, Caribbean, and Latin American Sales for American Airlines, a founding member of the oneworld® Alliance. "Our Travel Center provides them with the expert, hands-on help they need."

    American's new Travel Center is at 360 Lexington Avenue, between 40th and 41st streets, and replaces its former center in the Satellite Terminal at 125 Park Avenue. American shares its new, larger quarters with It's Easy -- a service that provides passengers with swift, experienced assistance in obtaining the passports and visas required for international travel.

    "With passports now required for travel to Canada and non-U.S. locations in the Caribbean, providing passport and visa assistance, along with all our other travel services, satisfies a very timely need," Lisiewski Cardona said.
