American Airlines Offers Triple Bonus Miles and Triple Elite Qualifying Miles Between New York LaGuardia and Chicago O'Hare and Between LaGuardia and Boston Logan

FORT WORTH, Texas, June 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Airlines is giving AAdvantage® members the opportunity to earn triple bonus miles and triple elite qualifying miles for travel on nonstop flights operated by American or American Eagle between New York LaGuardia (LGA) and Chicago O'Hare (ORD) and between LaGuardia and Boston Logan (BOS).

With this offer, AAdvantage members can add more bonus miles to their available award balance and, at the same time, qualify for AAdvantage Gold®, AAdvantage Platinum® or AAdvantage Executive Platinum® status at an accelerated rate.

AAdvantage triple mile offer is valid only for travel on eligible published fare tickets on American Airlines or American Eagle nonstop flights between New York/LaGuardia and Chicago O'Hare or Boston booked and purchased between June 14, 2010, and August 31, 2010. Offer applies only to new reservations booked during this period. Tickets booked prior to the offer period do not qualify for this promotion. This offer does not increase the member's elite qualifying points or segments. Triple bonus miles and elite-qualifying miles will be calculated at 200% of the miles earned for each applicable flight and will be posted to the account of the traveling AAdvantage member within six to eight weeks. Offer does not apply to travel on mileage award tickets or fares that are ineligible for AAdvantage mileage accrual. Only flights operated by American or American Eagle are eligible for this promotion. Registration prior to travel is required.
