AAdvantage Members Can Now Register for Even Faster, More Direct Phone Service When Calling American
American Airlines today announced upgrades to its reservation and flight information telephone service that will make calls to the airline easier than ever before. Thanks to the implementation of a new, industry-leading feature, American Airlines AAdvantage® members who register with the "Remember Me" program will have the added convenience of a direct path to information about their upcoming trips when they call American. AAdvantage members can call at any time from their registered cell phone and proactively receive information about upcoming travel reservations.
Additionally, an updated menu system has advanced features that will result in a more efficient calling experience with an improved menu guided by faster, keyword-driven commands. Options and menu paths were developed based on feedback from customers, making the overall experience more intuitive and helpful for business and leisure travelers. Combined with "Remember Me," the menu enhancements make navigation simple and quick, saving valuable time.
"We are pleased to introduce this new and easy-to-use system for the convenience of our customers. Now they have a faster and more convenient way to check the status of their flight via a telephone. And, since our research shows that an overwhelming majority of our customers carry cell phones, the 'Remember Me' feature makes great sense for them and for us," said Bella Goren, American's Senior Vice President - Customer Relationship Marketing and Reservations. "This is a time-saving convenience for travelers, and its implementation underscores American's commitment to continue enhancing our customers' overall flying experience."
