American Airlines today announced the launch of a new and much-anticipated price and schedule travel booking tool on its Web site, AA.com.
American enlisted help from customers in developing and testing its new booking tool to ensure it is user friendly and intuitive. With the tool, customers can now search not just by price or by schedule but by both price and schedule combined. They can see flight choices in a convenient display of all pertinent information -- schedule, price and level of service -- and can check prices based on departure and return portions of a roundtrip independently.
"We're excited to offer our customers even more control over their travel planning with our new booking tool," said Rob Friedman, Managing Director -- Interactive Marketing at American. "Now they can see at a glance how their choices impact price and make the best decisions based on their personal preferences."
Customers can now better customize travel plans according to their individual priorities since the new display also allows travelers to sort results by expanded criteria such as price, number of stops, and departure and arrival times. American also announced today a new "Fly Now, Pay Later" deferred payment option.
