American Airlines Honors Its First African-American Pilot and Flight Attendant
WHAT: In celebration of Black History Month, American Airlines presents an evening with the first African-American pilot and flight attendant ever hired by the airline. They joined the airline in 1963 and 1964 respectively.

BACKGROUND: Captain Dave Harris and Joan Dorsey will share their experiences as the first African-American members of a legacy airline flight crew. Both will be available for interviews. Other speakers will include officers of American Airlines and American Eagle Airlines.
