American Airlines Federal Credit Union Makes Donation to the Something mAAgic Foundation
FORT WORTH, Texas, Aug. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- American Airlines Federal Credit Union (AA Credit Union) proudly presented The Something mAAgic Foundation® with a check for $7,500. Funds were raised through Credit Union-wide employee dress-down days, raffles and donations from check orders - $.50 of each order of the American Airlines Logo series of checks placed by member-owners of AA Credit Union was donated to the foundation. The check was presented to Todd Fairbanks, The Something mAAgic Foundation Executive Director, at their board meeting on Aug. 21.

"Whether helping at the departure lounges at WishFlight departure cities, welcoming the flights in Orlando, or volunteering at the welcome party at Give Kids the World Village®, WishFlight has meant something very special for the countless AA Credit Union employee volunteers and their family members who have taken part in this wonderful event for the past several years."

The Something mAAgic Foundation Inc., is a grassroots, non-profit organization comprised of volunteers who are current and former employees of American Airlines, American Eagle Airlines and AA Credit Union. They support the missions of Give Kids The World Village and other children's organizations to create mAAgical memories for children with life-threatening medical conditions. The foundation's annual marquee event, WishFlight, helps fulfill the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions who want to travel to Orlando, Fla., to visit the local theme parks. This year's event will be held on Oct. 2, with an anticipated 32 WishKids departing from more than 32 airports (including six international locations) served by American Airlines and American Eagle Airlines.
