    American Airlines Cargo Recognized for Pursuit of Excellence in the Air Express Industry

    FORT WORTH, Texas, March 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- American Airlines Cargo Division (AA Cargo) today announced it has been recognized by the Express Delivery and Logistics Association (XLA) for successful implementation of upgrades in service, communication, technology and on-time performance. The recognition is based on a survey of members who use the services for express deliveries around the world. American was identified as the carrier with the most improvements in these categories for the second consecutive year. The award was presented at the AirCargo 2011 Conference in San Diego.
