American Airlines and MasterCard Launch 'Travel Concierge Sweepstakes'
Savvy travelers know that when you're looking for a knowledgeable and helpful resource to sort out last-minute travel details, a concierge is extremely valuable. What they may not know is how easy AA.com makes planning these important travel details, including air travel, hotel stays and car rentals -- all in one place.
Now, thanks to American Airlines and MasterCard®, a visit with a "virtual concierge" and booking on AA.com can be especially rewarding during the American Airlines Travel Concierge sweepstakes.
The sweepstakes offers customers multiple chances to win one of several exciting prizes. Nearly $50,000 in MasterCard gift cards, $25,000 in American Airlines gift cards, and hours of virtual concierge services are up for grabs. To register for the sweepstakes, simply visit http://www.aa.com/promo through noon Dec. 31, 2008, (Eastern Standard Time).
The sweepstakes comprises two prize pools. When you register for the sweepstakes you'll be entered up to three times for a chance to win upon booking a flight, car rental or hotel stay on AA.com and paying with your MasterCard card, or alternatively, by completing the Official Entry Form. One lucky grand-prize winner in this prize pool will win $25,000 in American Airlines gift cards, a $15,000 MasterCard gift card, and hours of personalized virtual concierge services.
In addition, a separate prize pool in the Travel Concierge sweepstakes offers the chance to win one of over a thousand other prizes -- including $50 or $250 MasterCard gift cards, or hours of virtual concierge services. Just by registering for the sweepstakes, you'll be entered into this prize pool drawing for a chance to win. And, if you forward the sweepstakes information to a friend or family member, you'll receive an additional entry. Sixty winners in this prize pool will each receive a $250 MasterCard gift card, 350 will each receive a $50 MasterCard gift card, and 600 will each receive six hours of virtual concierge services.
"Everyone knows that AA.com is a terrific resource for booking air travel, but some people may not realize it's a great place to book hotel stays and car rentals, too," said Derek DeCross, American's Managing Director - Interactive Marketing. "This promotion highlights that AA.com is a convenient one-stop shop where customers can plan and book every facet of their trip, with each area offering travelers numerous options and competitive prices."
