American Airlines and American Eagle Add a Splash of Green to Fall With Great Low Fares From South Florida to Select Destinations in Caribbean, Bahamas and Latin America

Fares Start at Just $44* Each Way

Fall colors are traditionally red, orange and yellow. This fall, American Airlines adds another color to the list -- green -- which you'll save in abundance on trips from South Florida to select destinations in the Caribbean, Bahamas and Latin America.

American and its regional affiliate, American Eagle, are offering great low fares for travel this fall from Miami and Fort Lauderdale starting at just $44* each way to the Caribbean and Bahamas and just $69* each way to Latin America (with required round-trip purchase).

These low fares are available for travel from mid-September to mid-December to the Caribbean and Bahamas and from mid-September to early December to Latin America.

 Here are the highlights of American's South Florida sale. 
--  Available from Miami and Fort Lauderdale to select destinations in the Caribbean, Bahamas, and Latin America. 
--  Travel either Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, depending on the destination. 
--  For Caribbean and Bahamas, begin travel Sept. 12 - Dec. 11, 2007, and complete travel by Dec. 13, 2007. 
--  For Latin America, begin travel Sept. 10 - Dec. 3, 2007, and complete travel by Dec. 6, 2007. 
--  Purchase tickets no later than Sept. 12, 2007.

Fares do not include (a) a federal excise tax of $3.40 per U.S. domestic flight segment, defined as one takeoff and landing, of a passenger's itinerary; (b) up to $18 per round trip in local airport charges; and (c) September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per enplanement originating at a U.S. airport. For international/Puerto Rico/U.S. Virgin Islands destinations, government taxes and fees of up to $180, varying by destination, are not included and may vary slightly depending on currency exchange rates at the time of purchase.

Tickets must be purchased at least three days prior to departure or within one day of making reservations, whichever comes first, but not later than 11:59 p.m., Sept. 12, 2007 (Central Daylight Time).

Fares shown to the Caribbean and Bahamas are valid for travel commencing Sept. 12-Dec. 11, 2007 and travel complete by midnight, Dec. 13, 2007. Travel to/from the Caribbean and Bahamas is not valid Nov. 14-27, 2007. Fares shown to Latin America are valid for travel commencing Sept. 10-Dec. 3, 2007 and travel complete by midnight, Dec. 6, 2007. A two-day minimum stay is required and a 30-day maximum stay is allowed for the Caribbean and Bahamas. A three-day minimum stay is required and a 120-day maximum stay is allowed for Latin America.

Advertised fares are valid only on American Airlines, American Eagle, and AmericanConnection® and do not apply to other codeshare flights. Seats are limited. Fares may not be available on all flights. Schedules are subject to change without notice.

Fares are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Changes to your ticket may be made if you meet the restrictions of the new fare and pay up to a US$100 fee plus any fare difference. Changes must be made before your ticketed flight's scheduled departure time. If you cancel your flight prior to the scheduled departure time, the ticket will be valid for one year from the date of issue for an unused ticket or one year from travel origination for a partially used ticket. If you do not cancel your flight prior to the scheduled departure time, the ticket has no value.
