American’s latest broadcast advertising commercial dubbed “New Plane Smell” is the second commercial from American’s new brand campaign and supports the introduction of American’s new look as well as its fleet modernization efforts. “New Plane Smell” is designed to highlight American’s journey to build the youngest, most modern fleet among the largest U.S. airlines and the American’s promise to customers to keep them more comfortable and connected than ever before.
The spot takes place mostly on the tarmac at the airport, with close-up reactions from American’s employees as the airline’s brand-new 777-300ER approaches. Combined with the upbeat music, the employees’ visible delight and prideful reaction about the arrival of American’s new fleet generates great excitement.
American’s recently-launched “Change is in the Air” commercial, the first of its brand campaign, is also currently airing on national cable and online.
