Five Star Service Fact Sheet
 
For VIP travel assistance — whether it's for an arrival, departure or connection — customers can count on Five Star Service from American Airlines to help their trip go smoothly. Five Star Service offers a choice of arrival, departure or connection assistance, each with personal, one-on-one assistance from curbside to boarding and everywhere in between.

Originally launched in 2007 at New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport, American’s Five Star Service – a meet and greet service offered for purchase to travelers – expanded to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Miami International Airport (MIA) from 2008 to 2010.  In Aug. 2010, American began rolling out the service to 11 additional airports.

Today American offers Five Star Service in 14 airports worldwide.  Airports include:

United States
Boston, Chicago O'Hare, Dallas Fort Worth, Miami, Los Angeles, New York Kennedy, New York LaGuardia, San Francisco, Washington, D.C. Reagan

International
Buenos Aires, Argentina; London Heathrow, England; Milan, Italy; Tokyo-Narita, Japan; Sao Paulo, Brazil

Five Star Service assistance varies by service option, but includes coordinating with customer’s car service; meeting customers curbside or at the arrival gate; baggage and check-in assistance; expediting the security screening process; access to the Admirals Club lounge*; escorting customers to the departure gate and assistance with pre-boarding; monitoring flights and, in case of delays, coordinating re-accommodations; escorting customers through Customs and Immigration; and escorting customers to baggage claim and baggage assistance.  In addition to meeting and assisting customers at the airport, Five Star Service representatives work behind the scenes to monitor the status of the patron’s flight(s) and make any necessary accommodations.

Reservations
Reservations for Five Star Service can be made by calling 877-5STAR-02 (578-2702) or emailing FiveStar.Service@aa.com.  Representatives are available daily from 5 a.m. to midnight CT to take customers reservation. Five Star Service is available to customers over the age of 18, but children under the age of 18 are welcome to accompany a paying Five Star adult.

$125 – 1 Adult
Los Angeles (LAX), Miami (MIA), New York Kennedy (JFK), and New York LaGuardia (LGA)

$200 – 1 Adult
Boston (BOS), Chicago (ORD), Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), San Francisco (SFO), and Washington Reagan (DCA)

$275ˆ – 1 Adult
Buenos Aires (EZE), London Heathrow (LHR), Milan (MXP), Narita (NRT), and Sao Paulo (GRU)

ˆTaxes may apply based on destination. Five Star Service customer is responsible for all taxes and fees.

Additional Travelers

$50 – Each Child (age 17 years and under)
