As an AAdvantage member, this month you have an exclusive opportunity to be rewarded with bonus miles by supporting American’s Miles for the Cure program, which supports a research grant at M.D. Anderson in Houston, Texas. Now through May 31, you will earn 15 AAdvantage miles for every dollar you donate to Susan G. Komen® through American’s Miles for the Cure program.
Your donation would make a great Mother’s Day gift or special gesture to the important people in your life. For every dollar you donate, you earn 15 miles —
instead of 10 — from May 1 – 31. Donations can be made in general, to celebrate and honor a loved one who has survived breast cancer or in loving memory of a special woman.

Make a donation to celebrate and honor a loved one's survivorship or a special occasion - a birthday, anniversary, or a wedding, or recognize the courage of a friend or relative who is fighting breast cancer. When an In Honor gift is received, Komen will send a personalized tribute card to the person or family indicated notifying them of your thoughtful donation.
Providing the opportunity to make a donation in memory of a loved one or friend – an In Memory gift is recognized with a personalized tribute card to the person or family indicated notifying them of your thoughtful donation.
You can also surprise a loved one with an
American Airlines/Komen co-branded gift card – for every $50 of travel purchased on a gift card, American will donate $5 when you select the Komen gift card option.

- Minimum $25 donation required
- Mileage cap for a 12-month period is 60,000
- Bonus miles do not count toward elite-status qualification
- Please allow up to eight weeks for the bonus miles to be posted to your account. Donations can only be accepted in U.S. dollars. All gifts are welcome; however, miles will only be earned for donations of at least $25 USD.
