Celebrity Ski event benefits Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

American Airlines is proud to sponsor the 32nd annual American Airlines Celebrity Ski Weekend this March, benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the world’s leader in the search for a cure. American supports Cystic Fibrosis Foundation with miles donated through the American Airlines Kids in Need program.

The American Airlines Kids in Need program provides worldwide support for children and their families, as well as for organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with needs for medical, educational and social services issues. Donating miles to Kids in Need directly supports those causes. Donate today. Opens external site in a new window

Presented by Citi® and Mastercard® Worldwide, the annual weekend has raised more than $36 million to fund research for a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. Thanks to this event, significant advances have been made in the development of both gene and drug therapy, and we are closer than ever to developing a viable treatment—but we need to continue important research and fund-raising to reach our goal of making CF a disease of the past.

This year, guests will fly in from across the country to the snowy slopes of Beaver Creek Ski Resort in Colorado for world-class skiing and to meet — and compete — with more than 30 celebrities, including comedian Lenny Clarke, ex-NFL player Jordan Gross and actress Wendie Malick.

The weekend also includes gourmet dinners and intimate, private concerts, including pop/rock artist Gavin DeGraw — and a silent and live auction benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
