A Refined Stay

The walled-garden entrance of New Orleans’ Windsor Court is a lot like the hotel itself: a welcoming, relaxing respite from the nonstop excitement of the nearby French Quarter. Recently renovated (without downsizing its notably large guest rooms), the 23-story Anglo-centric property features an extensive art collection — mostly British — and woos guests and locals alike with its veddy proper traditional English tea.

Ooh La La!

It doesn’t get much hipper in Dallas than the dazzling and unique Hotel ZaZa, whose Dragonfly restaurant is always buzzing with the It crowd. Upping the wow factor: the recent addition of 12 large, luxurious, and individually styled bungalows, located in two separate structures near the swanky hotel.

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai at Historic Ka'upulehu
Canada Luxe

Applause for a pair of recently reinvented Canadian classics. The newly built flagship Four Seasons Hotel Toronto occupies stylish Yorkville with two restaurants by chef Daniel Boulud and a highrise full of commissioned Canadian art. Renovated over four years, the Ritz-Carlton Montreal was retrofitted with an upper-floor pool and, too, a Boulud restaurant.

Suite Style

At Four Seasons Resort Hualalai at Historic Ka’upulehu, you can select accommodations to suit you from among its 51 one- to three-bedroom suites. Family trip? Consider the Ohana suites, with direct access to the family pool and grass lawns. Seeking solace? Try the oceanfront Anelakai suite, with its own plunge pool. Whichever you choose, you’ll get reserved poolside daybeds, complimentary breakfast and massages, and more.
