Eight more elite camps for kids to conquer and for parents to envy.

Spend a week feeding and caring for sea lions and dolphins, snorkeling with reef fish, and observing sharks (from a safe distance) at the weeklong Marine Adventure Fantasy Camp at Atlantis, Paradise Island resort. Three week-long sessions are held in July and August at the Bahamas resort, which will again offer summer LEGO Fantasy Camps with LEGO Master Builders — the talents who create the building kits — and Seventeen Magazine Fantasy Camp featuring professional stylists and fitness experts for teenage cover-girl wannabes (dates TBD).

Future Golden Glovers can work out with Red Sox trainers in 10 one-week sessions of Red Sox Youth Baseball Summer Camp held in six sites around Boston each summer. In addition to batting and fielding drills, campers get backstage tours of Fenway Park, Red Sox uniforms, and meet-and-greets with major leaguers like Dustin Pedroia and Jed Lowrie.

Bend it like Beckham at LA Galaxy Youth Soccer Fantasy Camp. Kids ages 8 to 16 get the run of the team’s home field for five days in late June and early July under the supervision of Galaxy coaches and former players like Paul Caligiuri. Campers get team uniforms, locker room access, and even interview opportunities in a mock press conference.

Feed your funny bone at The Second City, the legendary Chicago improvisational theater that launched the careers of John Belushi, Bill Murray, and Tina Fey. Second City Summer Camps run two weeks for ages 11 to 18 featuring Second City performers teaching improv games and sketches. The company also offers Spring Break Intensives, weeklong sessions for kids 8 to 18.

High school songwriters, singers, future music journalists, and audio engineers can audition for GRAMMY Camp. From the folks behind the Grammy Awards, two summer sessions — held 10 days in Los Angeles, the other seven days in New York City — feature in-depth training in the creative, technical, and business facets of the music industry with such talents as Maroon 5, Nick Jonas, Matthew Morrison of the TV hit Glee, and a host of other behind-the-scenes hit-makers.

Immerse your future Spielberg in movie production and gaming design in Techno-Tainment Weeklong Camps held at Terranea Resort near L.A. Enroll in separate camps devoted to video game creation (grades 4 to 6), special effects (grades 4 to 8), and LEGO-Motion in which 1st through 3rd graders build LEGO creatures, then make a stop-motion film with them. Five-day classes, broken up by more traditional games like kickball and capture the flag, take place in June and July.
