As the “go local” food movement becomes de rigueur, liquor distillers have taken to growing their own ingredients for their premium products, known as “seed to sip.” These companies, such as Woody Creek Distillers in Basalt, Colorado, can oversee every aspect of their product from planting to pouring.

Also in Colorado, Peach Street Distillers, in Palisade, is bringing back the classic spirit peach brandy — using their very own Palisade peaches.
