Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the spa at Mandarin Oriental, Miami has embraced a whole new look, full of
vibrant color and golden luxury. On the menu: the spa’s five-hour 10th-anniversary package ($640), including Contour & Firm Body Treatment, Time Reversal Facial, Anti-Aging Manicure, Reviving Pedicure, and a bento box lunch served poolside. Another cutting-edge offering at Clinique La Prairie is the Simonin Anti Wrinkle Toning Treatment, a treatment that stimulates the skin’s collagen using electric current applied to the skin via fine needles.
If there is one defining spa focus this year, it is the search for youth. Whether in a serum, bottle, or molecular delivery system, reversing the signs of aging remains a worldwide obsession. “Guests continue to want healthy anti-aging treatments and products that deliver results,” insists Canyon Ranch’s Day. One way spas are achieving this is by offering spa product lines synonymous with turning back the clock.
At the spa at jW Marriott camelback inn (which hit our list last year and soared to No. 2 this year), the Dr. Perricone Anti-Aging Treatment combines the dermatologist’s eponymous line (a guest favorite) with an at-home NuFace system (available in the gift shop). Another dreamy new treatment: the Natural Agave Toning Wrap ($165), combining a full-body exfoliation with prickly-pear-cactus gel and the spa’s signature agave-nectar oil.
Whether your spa menu includes a mind-and-body treatment or an anti-aging regime, there are no better places than these to take a deep breath, count backward from four, and put your mind and body at ease.
