More like tennis, everyone. May has been named USA Tennis Month by the United States Tennis Association. With high-profile players such as Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras, the Williams sisters, and Anna Kournikova adding excitement to the sport, more families are getting together, picking up rackets, and hitting the courts.

As part of the USA Tennis Plan for Growth — a landmark $50 million, five-year initiative to increase tennis participation in the United States — free lessons, inexpensive programs, star-studded demonstrations, and everything else will have amateurs, pros, and fans heading to the nets to join in this swinging sport. Chances are there’s an event or two this month close to you — no matter where you hang your racket.
