"One of my favorite restaurants is The Real Jerk. It's small, with
an island feel. It has an authentic Caribbean menu with everything
you would want. I usually get cod fritters as an appetizer, along
with a few beef and vegetable patties. For my main meal, I get the
oxtails or curry chicken. They also have red snapper, made any way
you like. Top that off with a Kola Champagne or rum punch and
you're good!"
Nightlife
"Entertainment? Right up my alley. I go to The Bamboo Club. It has
a Caribbean atmosphere with a rooftop patio. They have a variety of
live bands and a different format of music every night. The
Guvernment is another hot place. This place is massive. It's nuts.
It has eight different sections that can hold a combined 5,000
people."
SATURDAY
Breakfast
"I either order room service or go downstairs to the Café Victoria,
which is in the King Eddy. I order scrambled eggs, fresh fruit,
turkey or beef sausage, and fresh-squeezed carrot juice, with an
occasional mimosa, to start the day off right."
Sights
"My favorite sight is the CN Tower. You can ride to the top in a
glass-fronted elevator and look out at Toronto's world-famous
skyline - and all the way to Niagara Falls. There's a glass floor
on one of the observation decks, and you can look down all the way
to the street. You can also look into the Skydome, Toronto's main
sports stadium, when the roof is open. Toronto is famous too for
its neighborhoods: Chinatown, Little Italy, The Danforth [a
predominantly Greek area], Koreatown, Little India, Little Poland,
and Portugal Village, each with its own ethnic food and
atmosphere."
