While you may have tired of “all that jazz” surrounding the Academy Award-winning film CHICAGO when it was on the award campaign trail last year, you should still be the first in line for the DVD on August 19. After all, as exhausting as the hype was, it was highly earned. Showcasing the talents of Renée Zellweger, Queen Latifah, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Richard Gere, and offering features like behind-the-scenes looks, it deserves all that jazz.

The unnatural, yet surprisingly successful, pairing of Queen Latifah and Steve Martin in BRINGING DOWN THE HOUSE rendered $125 million at the box office, and the DVD version of the hit offers extras galore, including deleted scenes and a hilarious gag reel — well-worth watching when we’re talking about the likes of comedy-genius Steve Martin.

And you might not have agreed with his controversial acceptance speech at this year’s Academy Awards, but Michael Moore’s Oscar-winning documentary, BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE, is still worth the watch. For the kids, Lizzie McGuire takes on Europe for a second time in THE LIZZIE McGUIRE MOVIE.
