New additions to the much-anticipated 7th Annual Chocolate Show in New York, November 11-14, include 40,000 more square feet of exhibition space as well as, drumroll please, a Chocolate Lounge. Yes, you read right. A lounge inspired by chocolate — including furniture and decor — that will serve cocktails and chocolate/spirit pairings. The festival, modeled after Paris’ famous Salon du Chocolat, also offers demonstrations by top pastry chefs and chocolate makers, tasty samples from 70-plus exhibitors, chocolate sculptures, and more. Get in the mood a day early with the Second Annual Fashion Gala, featuring a live fashion show of original outfits created by hip designers like Nicole Miller and Patricia Field, made of — you guessed it — chocolate. Fashion Gala, $120; Chocolate Show, $20 (adults), $15 (senior citizens and students). (866) 246-2692,
