ONE GREAT DAY IN L.A. "I remember going to
Disneyland when I was a little girl. You got a ticket book and the
rides were separated into letters. The A tickets were for kiddie
rides, then you would progress to the B tickets, until you got to
the Matterhorn and the adventure rides. I remember being
transported to a different place, a fantasyland. What I've learned
about living in Los Angeles is that you can do and be anything.
L.A. is one big E ticket. You can take that little booklet and go
around and find everything you would ever want to do. It's truly a
magic kingdom."

ONE GREAT DAY IN NEW YORK "My husband and I were
dating while we were classmates in NYU's Graduate Acting Program.
At the end of our first year, we were so happy to have gotten
through it that we decided to celebrate as a class. We all went to
the Great Lawn in Central Park and set up our picnic. It was sort
of a tapestry; everywhere you looked, there was another little
individual experience going on: people riding their bikes or
sleeping or lovers on blankets cuddling. I'd only been in New York
for probably not even a year, but I sat back and thought, 'I am now
officially a New Yorker.'"
