On ABC’s Revenge, Josh Bowman plays an all-American blue blood whose family can’t stay out of trouble. In real life, Bowman is a U.K. import who prefers hanging with his teenage kitty or catching a big wave more than familial drama. We asked the hunky 24-year-old to tell us more about his off-screen life.
On Your iPod: 14th; SBTRKT; The xx; King Krule; Burial; and Tyler, the Creator — anything with a decent beat.
On Your DVR: I don’t usually watch TV, but recently I’ve been watching Downton Abbey . Fantastic show.
Book on Your Nightstand: The Art of Racing in the Rain [by Garth Stein]. It should be sold with a box of tissues. It’s a beautifully written book about a man’s best friend told through the dog’s perspective.
Favorite American Meal: There’s nothing like a good ol’ fashioned steak and chips (fries) .
Favorite British Meal: I do love a roast dinner, but fish and chips is tasty too.
Childhood Pet: My cat, Tom — 18 years old and still going strong. He’s the biggest flirt I know.
What I Wanted to Be When I Grew Up: A rugby player
Nickname: Skinny B (when I was at school)
Favorite Workout: Boxing or surfing — anything where I can be competitive. I hate gyms.
