Where to …
Belly full of wine? Stop in at Kelly’s French Bakery and enjoy the California sunshine while refueling with a grilled ham-and-Gruyere sandwich, a tasty French pastry and a much-needed latte. A few doors down, you can satisfy your carnivorous cravings with something from El Salchichero, a specialty butcher shop that sticks to locally and humanely raised meats. Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing, an organic microbrewery, is just around the corner for when you’re tired of wine. No trip to the Westside is complete, though, without picking up a spread of gourmet goodies from neighboring New Leaf Community Markets and heading to West Cliff Drive for a seaside picnic.
