LOOK WHAT'S NEW
As I mentioned in the previous issue, we have a survey on our website, www.americanwaymag.com, that I’m counting on each of you to fill out. Why? Because it’s one of the few ways we have to hear what you think about our magazine. Thanks to syndicated research, we know that lots of you are reading us (almost 1.4 million per issue, to be exact), but because you can’t buy us on the newsstand, it’s hard for us to tell which issues really grab your attention and which ones don’t. That’s why the survey is so important.
We know you’re busy, so we don’t do many of these. In fact, it’s been a few years since we last asked for your in-depth input. And I’m sure that as the magazine has changed over those years, you’ve noticed things you really like and things you think aren’t that fabulous.
For example: Would you be sad if you could no longer find Jim Shahin in our pages? Or maybe you wouldn’t pick up the magazine if he weren’t in it? Let us know! Would you prefer to see more travel stories? Sports? Fashion? All of the above, or something else we haven’t yet thought of? Let us know! We’ll take everything you tell us into serious consideration.
So please, please do go to our website and fill out our survey. There are only 40 or so questions, and it shouldn’t take you long to answer them since you guys are so familiar with the magazine. And even though the survey is super-easy to fill out, the results will be infinitely helpful to us as we create more issues for your future reading pleasure.

While I’m on the topic of the website, this is also probably a good time to remind you that ever since the beginning of the year, we’ve been putting every story in the magazine online. So on those rare occasions when you happen to miss an issue because you’re not on our planes, you’ll find it easy to catch up.
This originally started as a test to gauge your interest in reading us online. And, according to our Brainy IT Department, you’re definitely interested. So I’m sure you’ll be happy to know that we’ll continue to provide all of the magazine’s content online (at no cost to you!), as well as begin to add all sorts of new and interesting things in the coming months.
So head there now to fill out our survey — you only have two weeks left, as the opportunity ends on April 15 — and be sure to check back for the latest.
Hmm. Maybe we can even add a section where you can give us your feedback year-round! I’ll have to talk to the Brainy IT Department about that. Of course, you can always send us an e-mail message at email@example.com and let us know what’s on your mind. Who knows — you might even win one of our great giveaways just for telling us what you’re thinking. I can guarantee you that the odds here are way better than playing the lottery!
