Everybody Loves a Happy Ending (arista)
One of the most popular bands of the 1980s is back together again, and it didn’t take a VH1 show to do it. The duo of Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith has re-formed to release an album of all-new material — their first since 1989’s The Seeds of Love. Now, the Bath, England-formed group has gone from everybody wanting to rule the world to everybody loving a happy ending with 12 tracks featuring titles like “Who Killed Tangerine?,” “Call Me Mellow,” and the pair’s first collaborative single in 15 years, “Closest Thing to Heaven.”
