Jack Spade takes his empire to London; his newest boutique is in Soho at the Regent Palace Hotel.

On the heels of its first international outpost in Tokyo’s Shibuya district, Jack Spade has expanded its empire with a 1,000-square-foot London boutique in Soho’s revamped Regent Palace Hotel, where William Burroughs and the Sex Pistols once held court. Under the direction of New York designer Steven Sclaroff, the store’s collection of urban-preppy bags and duds is offset by light-wood shelving, utilitarian tables and quirky curios — and its mix of vintage toys, books and advertising posters rivals even the hippest antique bazaars. While this is the first European outpost for the brand, we’re more than sure it won’t be the last. 83 Brewer St.
