The oldest tournament in golf, dating from 1860, this year’s 132nd Open Championship, July 17-20, returns to Royal St. George’s Golf Club in Kent for the 13th time, with Ernie Els defending his 2002 title. In 1993, Els became the first man in Open history to break 70 for all four rounds. Later the same day, Greg Norman matched the feat with a dazzling 64, and won his second Open title.
