In March, we unveiled the winners of our seventh annual Road Warrior contest. Kathy Fox Frisbie, Michael Berumen, Daniel Melchiorre, Louis Roden, and grand-prize winner Shannon Kenitz traveled to San Juan, Puerto Rico, where they met up with members of our staff and shared stories from the road over great food, great views, and lots of sun.
Now we’re starting to turn the engine over for our eighth annual Road Warrior contest, and this time, we want to give you an early chance to be somewhere between Alaska and Puerto Rico . On us. Interested? Are the engines in your heads turning over yet? Here’s the idea and how it’ll work:
Road Warriors have all the right answers when it comes to navigating life on the road. And we know they have the questions too. What we mean is, as we prepare for the eighth annual Road Warrior contest, and as we draw up the various tasks and puzzles for you to navigate this year, we’d like your help with the contest’s construction.
Just visit www.americanwaymag.com and give us your best Q&A of what you think every true road warrior should know. Then, we’ll choose our eight favorite question-and-answer sets and include them in this year’s contest as one of the challenges our entrants have to complete in order to compete for the Road Warrior title.
Q: How many first-class seats are there on an MD-80?
A: There are 16 first-class seats on an MD-80.
To thank you for your Q&A participation, we will draw five winners, and each one will receive 25,000 AAdvantage miles. Enter between now and May 31.
This is such an easy contest to enter and win: Just write one good question (one that has a definitive answer, not one that is subjective) and you can go meet Rocky in Columbus. Or you can meet Kathy Fox Frisbie in her hometown of Flower Mound, Texas; Daniel Melchiorre and Louis Roden in Southern California; Michael Berumen in Woods Hole, Massachusetts; or Shannon Kenitz in Madison, Wisconsin. You’ll even be on your way to having enough AAdvantage miles to visit Alaska and Puerto Rico. What are you waiting for? Your free miles await you.
