To add an international flair, elements like Turkish Suzani bed coverings, luxuriously rich wood accents and French tiles were then combined with the retro Hollywood black-and-white photography of Deborah Anderson. An intimate four-room spa was also added, and the new poolside bar and restaurant pays homage to the hotel’s original owner with its name, Purple Palm.
