Geyser Peak’s winemaker is an Australian transplant named Daryl Groom who got his start making wines at Penfolds. Groom’s been at Geyser Peak in Geyserville since 1989 and makes a solidly consistent portfolio year after year at this Sonoma County powerhouse, aided and abetted by a crack team of associates. Their latest Sauvignon Blanc is characteristically racy and juicy with clean, vibrant flavors and a snappy finish.
