The British are coming, the British are coming — to BLOOMINGDALE'S that is. As an ode to its love of all things English, the luxury department store this month is featuring items that pay homage to the U.K. in its men’s, women’s and home departments. Some pieces in the collection bear only a subtle connection to England, such as exclusive styles from British brands like Liberty of London, Burberry, Ted Baker and McQ, while other nods come via the details — i.e., a Union Jack–lined jacket and University of Cambridge cuff links. For those who wish to be more blatant in their tributes, a cashmere sweater declaring, “God Save the Queen,” Union Jack smoking slippers or note cards featuring a number of classic British expressions — “tallyho,” “jolly good” and “the bee’s knees,” to name a few — are also on offer. The store even put a spin on its reusable plastic Little Brown Bag by creating a Union Jack version.

Of course, no nod to the Brits would be complete without celebrating The Beatles, and a Lonely Hearts Club Band umbrella, a Turnbull & Asser blazer lined in the famed Abbey Road photo and a boxed set of Beatles album covers in the form of pocket squares are true showstoppers.
