Even out of uniform, these five players know how to make a statement.

Derek Jeter: The cliché about men in uniform seems tailored for the New York Yankees’ long-term captain, but Jeter is also irresistible off the field. One of several celebrity faces for the luxury watch brand Movado, he looks as good in a pinstripe suit as he does in his team’s pinstripes.

Cole Hamels: He may have help from his reality-star wife, Heidi Strobel, but the Philadelphia Phillies pitcher can make a T-shirt look as sexy as a tailored tux.

Matt Kemp: The Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder, nicknamed “The Bison,” has a unique sense of style that helped him land Rihanna, even if they only dated for a short time.

Alex Rodriguez: While baseball fans may bemoan the Yankees slugger’s perennial injuries, fashion fans have been thankful for A-Rod’s many opportunities to flaunt his suave dress.

Brian Wilson: Proving that style is subjective, the former San Francisco Giants hurler (as of press time) has garnered legions of fans and imitators with his bushy, shipwrecked-for-months beard.
