If you think love is the only thing in the air this month, check out these thrilling releases. The highly anticipated follow-up to 1991’s The Silence of the Lambs, HANNIBAL is the newest installment in the series (remember 1986’s Manhunter?), but this time a former victim is pursuing Hannibal Lecter. The cast includes Academy Award-winner Anthony Hopkins as the unlovable Lecter and Oscar nominee Julianne Moore as FBI agent Clarice Starling. Have some fava beans and Chianti and don’t miss this one.

If you’re looking for a war epic, try ENEMY AT THE GATES, the story of a celebrated Russian sharpshooter who becomes the hunted when the Nazi party dispatches its most able marksman to find and kill the hero. Starring Jude Law (The Talented Mr. Ripley), Joseph Fiennes (Shakespeare in Love), and Ed Harris (The Truman Show), this film is inspired by a true story and is set in Stalingrad during the height of World War II.

Flowers, chocolates, and intrigue. This looks to be a lovely February indeed.
